What Would Life Be Without Travel?

My name is Pilar Forsythe, and I am the founder of Avian Connections.

When the long “hiatus” of 2020-2023 is over, and travel is wide open, it is important to take the necessary precautions. Because we are now in 2026 and moving to 2027, people should make sure that travel regulations are up-to-date, and they should take the right precautions to enjoy the wonders of the world in the upcoming years.

By staying informed through official travel advisories and health guidance, travelers can plan safer itineraries, obtain any required documentation, and maintain flexible plans in case of changes. Small precautions—vaccinations, travel insurance, and emergency contacts—help ensure a smooth, enjoyable journey.

You should also make sure to pack the necessary items, such as face masks, hand sanitizer, and other protective gear. Research the local culture and customs, and be aware of any potential risks you may be exposed to.  Be prepared to adjust your plans accordingly.

 Disappointed Travelers

Looking back on March 2020, flights were cancelled due to covid, and many travelers were not reminded of the importance of resilient travel plans. Embrace flexible bookings, maintain digital copies of vital documents, and stay updated on entry requirements as standards evolve with public health guidance. This mindset will empower travelers to pursue adventures with confidence and safety.

But let me remind you to take the time to travel within your own country and consider what your own country can offer you.  Traveling locally can also help to support local businesses and communities. Additionally, it’s a great way to discover something new and reconnect with nature. Our own country also makes an impression on everyone of us with its history and the possibilities for unforgettable experiences.

In addition to sharing my excitement as I step foot into amazing countries, I want you to experience these wonderful feelings when you travel to new countries, cities, and provinces. The time is now for you to take advantage of this opportunity!

My Story

I am the youngest of five children and the one fascinated by Travel and History. This is all I can think of discussing over the dinner table with my family. One day, my mom gave me a book about countries, their history, and the languages they speak, which she wants to visit with my father. I was motivated by the book to embark on my journey and inspired other people to do the same.

As a child, I dreamed of exploring a foreign land and seeing the world from a different perspective. When I joined the airline industry, travel allowed me to expand my horizons and gain a better understanding of the world around me. It is an integral part of self-discovery and personal growth.

I owe these things to my hardworking parents, and as good educators,  they both inspired me to experience the history of other countries not just to get there but to gain a sense of accomplishment and share what I have learned. I am grateful for their guidance and support, for without them, I would not have had the opportunity to pursue my dreams. I am blessed to have these experiences, and I am determined to make the most of them. This is what this blog is all about!

                                                               Jamaica

After graduating with a B.S. in Executive Management with a minor in human behavior, I joined the Airline Industry as a Flight Attendant. After 6 weeks and 8 hours a day, 6 days a week, 2 weeks of swimming, and extensive training in multiple aircraft, I finally made it.

Years later, I was awarded Cabin Crew of the Year and the Quarter due to my strong customer service abilities, leadership, and proven effective multitasking. I continued my dreams to fly internationally and later on became an Inflight Purser, Service and safety instructor, and years later a Quality Control officer. At this time, I have fulfilled the dreams of my parents and family and will travel more and share with you the wonderful moments of traveling, or maybe you can share your own.

I have vast experience in the Travel Industry, and I am still learning day by day. My parents told me that life is a learning process. When you travel, you always learn something new.  Our travel resource and history will give you perfect information regarding the events of the past of your destinations, and of course, we all need fun travel, but meaningful.

I want you to have a record of beautiful thoughts and experiences, collections from each country you visit, memorable history, culture, languages, cuisine and places that will make you travel more. But when you set foot in a place you never expected to see in your whole life, you will not stop thinking about what will be your next destination. You get addicted to planning trips.

I’m fascinated by the history of places I fly to, that made me more eager to take the adventure, and that makes my heart beat faster even up to now. I want you, yes, you, to feel the way I feel about increasing your exposure to the places you will visit in the future.

I want you to explore the way I do and to discover something new about yourself, the places, and the people that are about to offer you unforgettable memories. Do not let time pass you by. Always discover great days out by yourself, with your family and friends, at local attractions and other places you can enjoy. I hope that my story encourages you to pursue your dreams and make the most of every opportunity.

Create your experiences! Make your discoveries!

From the tallest mountain peaks to the depths of the deepest ocean, and into the corners of the world, take that adventure and EXPLORE YOUR WORLD!

Thank you for stopping by!

Pilar
